Resident Rooms
Double Rooms
To promote a sense of community among first-year students, they are primarily assigned to double rooms. Each student is provided with furniture and amenities, including a comfortable spring bed mattress, a well-lit desk for studying, a chair , and a spacious wardrobe for organized storage of personal belonging. In addition, most of these rooms have a splendid sea view.
Single Rooms
A few single rooms are available for returning residents seeking more independence.
Disability Rooms
The hall offers disability rooms that are thoughtfully designed with personal accessible toilets. These dedicated accommodations are specifically tailored to meet the needs of students with disabilities, prioritizing their comfort and convenience during their entire duration of stay.
Pantry
There is a pantry on each floor serving as a convenient communal area for students. The pantry is equipped with two stoves, an oven, a microwave and two fridges, offering a wide range of cooking possibilities for residents who prefer to prepare their own meals. Additionally, a sink is provided for washing dishes and utensils, while a water fountain ensures a continuous supply of both hot and cool drinking water.
Laundry Room
Situated on the 19th floor, the laundry room boasts a well-equipped setup with five washing machines and four drying machines, ensuring effortless management of sizable laundry loads. Additionally, there’s an outdoor area where residents can hang their clothes to dry.
Function Rooms
The function rooms, situating at the 1st floor, are versatile spaces where hall functions, including forums, meetings, and band practices take place.
Study Room
The study room, conveniently situated on the 1st floor, offers a dedicated space for hallmates to engage in focused revision and accomplish their academic tasks. Within this facility, residents can access black and white printing services at a cost of $0.3 per sheet, along with the added convenience of scanning and copying functionalities.
Garden
Lady Ho Tung Hall’s Garden is an outdoor space nestled next to the hall lobby. It provides the perfect setting for hallmates to engage in various activities, such as BBQ gatherings, yoga, and casual practice sessions.
