Lady Ho Tung Hall is HKU’s only female residential hall. We offers 404 places to full-time local and non-local undergraduate students. Conveniently situated just a 3-minute walk away from both the MTR station and the campus, Lady Ho Tung Hall provides students with easy access to transportation and ensures a seamless connection to students’ academic pursuits.

Round 1 Admission (Closed for 2023-2024)
Application Period: April 11-18, 2024
Round 1 Admission for hall memberships opens around April in each academic year, the following students are eligible for applying:

    • Current Lady Ho Tung Hall members who seeks re-admission to Lady Ho Tung Hall next year
    • Current residents in other residential halls/residentail colleges seeking readmission to Lady Ho Tung Hall next year
    • Students returning from exchange who had been residing in Lady Ho Tung Hall immediately prior to exchange

Round 2 Admission
Application Period: August 9-15, 2024
Round 2 Admission for hall memberships opens around mid August in each academic year, the following students are eligible for applying:
    • Current students who have no prior hall experience during the current academic year
    • Students who are newly admitted in to a study program in the coming academic year

Vacancies Available for application
 
The Central Clearing Hourse for vacacies in hall will be opened during August, and the vacancies will be posted on a weekly basis. Please refer to CEDARS website for further details and application of Hall Vacancies during Residential Year.
