Monthly Running Test on Generator –

Interruption of Emergency Electricity Supply

 

Please be informed that the monthly running test on the generator will be held as below:

 

Date: 14 March 2025 (Friday)

Time: 13:30-15:30

Affected Area: Lady Ho Tung Hall Building

 

Remarks

 

1. Statutory monthly running test of generators and associated changeover switches at ​the generator room.

2. During the testing period, the emergency electricity supply of the captioned building will be intermittently suspended for a short duration (approximately 30 seconds).

3. If there is any equipment affected by the power interruption, please take the necessary measures to protect the equipment.

4.   Lifts services will be interrupted for less than 30 minutes for the test.

5.   Noise and a smoky smell will be emitted during work.

6.   Noisy work will be kept to a minimum.
